October Boxycharm Review!!!

It feels like I’ve been waiting for my Boxycharm for weeks, when in reality it was shipped 7 days ago. Impatience, thy name is Allie. This months theme? Spellbound. Let’s get to the goodies.

Dr Brandt’s Poredermabrasion:

Dr Brandt’s line is expensive, popular, and well reviewed. I received the Microdermabrasion in a previous box-Feb? Mar? Either way, I use it 2-3 times a week and love it. This is similar-it’s got the same gritty texture, however it’s more clear than the opaque Microdermabrasion. It has a similar fragrance but not as minty. I’m psyched to add this to my skin care routine-the Poredermabrasion retails for a hefty 58$. Woah, Boxycharm.

Next is the tarte tarteist Lip Paint:

Mine is in the shade Homeslice-it’s more nude than pink in reality, this photo pinks it up. Swatched:

The formula is REALLY thin and watery-it took me by surprise. Regardless, it’s transfer and smudge proof once it dries down. This liquid lip retails for 20$.

The star of the show-Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Powder

It didn’t much matter to me if I got the liquid or pressed powder.

How beautiful is that? It’s in the shade Prosecco Pop. I believe this is part of the Jaclyn Hill collab, and the release that effectively ended it. Oops. This highlighter retails for 38$.

This one I find a little strange. I don’t know, just out of place for Boxycharm. It’s probably the least exciting and my least favorite Boxycharm item, but I’ll live. The rest of the box makes up for it.

I mean, you get a lot of stuff in this, and the case is cute. Retails for 18$.

The last item is a Jonteblu Lip Liner:

Mine is in the shade Brown Sugar-I actually like it. I don’t really use lip liners but I probably should.

It does go with the tarte lip paint, so that a plus. It’s not particularly creamy-but decently pigmented. It’s what you’d expect for the price-it retails for 5$.
